Our collage wall |
I completed another “home beautification” project! And of
course I am very excited about it.
Our main living space is an open floor plan, so you can
clearly see from the kitchen into the family room. On one of the walls I did a
collage. It’s filled with pictures from our wedding, dating, vacations, and
important symbols. I love that wall because it is kind of a reflection of Josh
and I.
Across from the collage wall was another empty space, and
I have been wanting to put more pictures there. But of course, you can’t have
two collage walls in one room. That would be way too busy. So after giving it
some thought, Josh and I decided to blow up 3 of our favorite pictures from our
various vacations (the Bahamas, Cancun, and Niagara Falls). In a previous post I
talked about the process and materials I used/ordered for this project and
today I just want to show it off.
Unfortunately, the pictures I took don’t do it justice.
In fact, they almost make the blown up prints look too small, but any bigger
would have been overpowering.
I am very happy with how our family room/kitchen turned
out and I can’t wait to finish decorating the bedrooms and bathrooms.
I love coming home to a space that reflects who Josh and I
are. It’s so nice being able to look around and be reminded of different
moments in our relationship.
Please enjoy the pictures!
